Shamanic Practice Group for Psychotherapists
Jan Edl Stein, MFT
Mill Valley (Marin), CA
9:30 am to 11:30 am
every 2-3 weeks as set by group
6 month commitment requested after initial group visit
2 Continuing education units for MFTs and LCSWs or training
credit for interns
fee: $50 per session
This on-going practice group for psychotherapists meets twice a month in an intimate Marin (Mill Valley) meditation space. This is a group for people who have some experience with shamanic journeying and are dedicated to practicing the technique in a small group format that supports the inner development of the practitioner. The structure of the group is typically a focused meditation, shaping of intention, and a longer journey. After our journeys there is reflection upon the material that is arising. Various themes and core shamanic techniques will be gently introduced in resonance with the group process. The intention is that as a group we will go deeper into our shamanic practices, using our journeys to support and strengthen our work in the world. The journeys and meditations will reflect the time and place in the wheel of the year cycle.
Further details provided upon inquiry. Interview required for admission.
